Kindly note that the studio will be closed December 20 to January 6 and all orders placed in that time will ship on January 8.   Last international orders are December 13 and last UK orders are December 19 for Christmas delivery. The returns period is extended over the holiday period until January 10.  Happy holidays!! 

An email confirmation is sent out after ordering and also after your order has been fulfilled.  Please do check your junk/spam folder if it hasn't been received as the emails seem to have a naughty habit of ending up there!  Thanks so much for your support and patience particularly in these unusual times.

Normal UK Delivery
UK shipping is free with Royal Mail 48 hour tracked and signed.  Delivery time of 3-5 working days. 
If your order is urgent let us know. We are a small company and pride ourselves on a personal service so we will be happy to offer alternative shipping options for you.

European shipping is £20 with Royal Mail and should take 4-6 business days days.  Unfortunately, buyers are responsible for customs and import which are out of our control.  We are occasionally able to offer shipping from France.    We do also offer DHL shipping which is 2-3 days and includes all duties and customs charges.

Standard North American delivery £15.00. Delivery is via Royal Mail Tracked and Signed.  Estimated delivery time of 10-12 working days. 

We are also now offering expedited US Shipping for £50.00 with delivery in 3-4 business days.
Standard worldwide delivery (other) £20.00 through Royal Mail Tracked and Signed. 

We use Royal Mail so all of our delivery times are based on their first class delivery predictions. With international orders we cannot guarantee the postal service is as reliable when it reaches its country of destination, so in some instances it may take longer than expected.
If you haven't received an order or delivery confirmation, please be sure to check your junk or spam folders.

Please note: outside the UK, the buyer is responsible for any import or customs fees that may apply.  In the European Union, you will usually receive an email regarding customs fees (which we find as upsetting as you do!!)

Each basket is entirely hand made by artisans with love. The process for making each basket takes a minimum of several days from the elephant grass straw which is hand dyed to the weaving and finishing of the handles. The nature of the basket making inevitably means that there will be small variations from basket to basket in terms of colour (straw is dyed in giant steel cauldrons over an open fire and dried in the sun) and pattern.  We believe the individual nature of the baskets adds to their uniqueness and beauty.  

We really hope that you are happy with your basket. However, if you would like to exchange your basket, or are not satisfied and would like to return your basket, we would be extremely grateful if you could please ensure it is returned within 14 days of receipt of the order with the exception of the Christmas period where returns are excepted up to 15 days after Christmas and the summer holidays (August) whereby you will have an extra week.
As a small social enterprise our stock is low and many of the baskets are unique pieces so we do need the items returned within 14 days.  Kindly ensure that baskets are returned unworn with tags still attached. We reserve the right to deny credits if returns are damaged, marked or altered in any way. Once the item has been inspected, you will then be refunded on the same card with which you paid originally or by PayPal within three days of receipt.
Please make sure that the item is returned via Royal Mail signed for service or another signed for courier service. Postage and insurance for the returned item is the responsibility of the customer and Mmaa Social cannot be held liable for returns that do not arrive.
For returns outside of the UK, please mark the package as ‘British Return Goods” with a domestic sale value of £0.00.
